Overview
The UV Island Colorizer is a powerful Blender addon designed to streamline your UV unwrapping workflow by automatically assigning unique colors to each UV island. This visual differentiation makes it easier to identify, select, and manage different parts of your mesh during texturing and UV editing.

Installation Instructions
1. Download the uv_island_colorizer.zip file
2. In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences > Add-ons
3. Click "Install" and select the downloaded file
4. Enable the addon by checking the checkbox
Usage Guide
Basic Operation
1. Mark seams on your mesh where you want UV cuts
2. Select your mesh and enter Edit Mode
3. From the UV menu or search, select "Unwrap with color tags"
4. The addon will:
Perform an Angle Based unwrap
Assign unique colors to each UV island
Set up visualization in both UV editor and 3D view
UV Island Panel
Access the UV Island panel in the UV Editor's sidebar (N-panel):
1. Island List - View and rename all UV islands
2. Material Assignment - Assign materials to specific islands
3. Paint Texture Creation - Generate paintable textures for islands
4. Utility Tools - Refresh data, select islands, and more
Painting on Islands
1. In the UV Island panel, click the paint icon for your desired island
2. The addon will:
Create a paintable texture at your chosen resolution
Generate a stencil mask to prevent paint bleeding
Switch to texture paint mode
3. Paint directly on your mesh - colors will stay within the island bounds
Advanced Features
Resolution Control: Choose between 1K to 8K texture resolutions
Material Management: Assign existing materials or create new ones
Island Selection: Quickly select all faces in a specific island
Reset Function: Clean up all generated data when finished
